Hip-hop influences new Park

Leon Teague transformed the old Park Store into an all-purpose shop with jeans, sweat-suits, dress shirts, cowboy boots and belt buckles, Spanish movies and music, blankets and soda, among other merchandise.

"It's a little something for everybody," said Teague.

Teague's mother, Julia Ramirez, co-owns Mexican grocer La Chica Bodega in downtown Bloomington. Teague has mixed his mother's heritage with his own hip-hop influences in his new store.
